All About Terry Maxwell

I began painting with the Dauphin Art Group in 1992, under the instruction of Professors Steve Higgins, Dianne Whitehouse, Alison Norlen and Steve Gouthro, from the University of Manitoba. They were all influential in providing an understanding of colour mixing and the use of it and light in a painting. 

I paint mostly with oils on canvas but have ventured a little into watercolors. I find landscapes and wildlife an interesting subject and enjoy watching the paintings come alive with the use of light and color.  

Living in the Parkland region of MB, provides a lot of great subject matter.
